5Sound advice  Sep 09, 2009 By Michelle McKeeth
i have been, like most who would read this, been dealing with weeds for years. This pamphlet reinforced what i have been doing and provided great suggestions for other control methods. I appreciated the logical presentation and down-to-earth advice.

The only thing that would be more helpful when using this book would be photos instead of drawings. Otherwise, I like it and use it.

4Weed Control  Sep 18, 2008 By April Bayne "Designs of April"
I use the Storey series to help customers in my landscape design business. They are a concise and an inexpensive way to support my customers with landscape maintenance questions.

5I've yet to find a book by Storey that was not good.  Feb 02, 2012 By thundercloud "C.B."
We did not pay very much for this book but it's well worth the money.

I purchased this one because I somehow lost my original one that I bought back in the 80's I like to keep books like these because over the years I tend to forget some of the things I've read in them. It's nice to be able to go back and refresh your memory. I think I may have actually lost my original when I sent a bunch of unused books to the Salvation Army.

You may need to adapt the tips in this book to your own circumstances. Myself I tend to use my Troy Bilt tiller wherever I can to control garden weeds but it can't get all of them. I use it every 10 days during the growing season to till up those that have just started and expose the seeds just under the surface to sunlight. By doing this I kill the weeds before they get a chance to reproduce. I don't believe there is a 100% foolproof way to control weeds.
